Today Baba was making my lunch and as always I couldn't see what she was doing because the counter is so high. I used to step a few feet back from the counter to see what was on it. Today I had a different idea.
I brought one of my chairs into the kitchen, put it right next to Baba and stood on it. I held on to Baba's back for extra support. Now I could see exactly what she was making for lunch. Grill Cheese Sandwich. I gave my approval and moved on.
By moving on, I mean I got down from my chair, moved it over to the sink and stood on it again. Finally I could see the kitchen sink. Fearing that I may hurt myself, Baba made me get down.
Later in the day Baba was making dinner in the kitchen and as any level headed 21 month old would do, I got my chair. This time I decided to open a drawer, which conveniently had all the forks ,spoons,... My spoons and forks were in there too so I chose my own spoon for dinner and then Baba made me get down (again).
I can't believe all the stuff I've been missing as a little guy. I wonder what I'll see if I use Baba's chair?
